12/09/2009 -- "My family has stayed in this unit 4 or 5 times, we love the complex and the beach. It fits my small (5) family and usually one other small family perfectly.
You can get to both Destin and Panama City relatively quickly. We have since moved away from Atlanta so it is not as close but we will still make the 10 hour drive from Charlotte because we like it that much.
Now for the bad part, our last visit had a couple of issues but not with the unit itself. One bedroom had dirty sheets on the bed when we arrived, I'll leave it at that since kids might read this. The other issue was that we found dried puke under one of the beds and that was after we had slept there all week. Since we have used this unit in the past without incident I will use the unit again but will be much more vigilant upon arrival for such things.

Beachside Villas is a great family resort with a variety of activities and just a short walk to the beach. We apologize for the housekeeping issues that you experienced during your stay. I do hope that they were reported to the front desk and were addressed before you departed. If not, please know that in the future, we truly do want to know of any such issues, so that we can correct them immediately upon notification. We continue to work with our housekeepers and inspectors to make sure that this sort of situation does not occur, but we are always subject to human error.
